Cushions have more fire compared to the other brilliant cuts due to the facet arrangements. Length/width ratios range in this cut from perfectly square to rectangular elongated cushion cuts to suit any style. Cushion cut diamonds are considered a unique, vintage-style shape and are a modified version of an antique diamond shape: the old mine cut. Cushion cut diamonds can have a very slightly larger table than round brilliant diamonds. Additionally, they have larger facets, which can make them look bigger.
